The B/R VAC-1000 is a unique vacuum regulation system that features a digital vacuum controller, 5 decade pressure transducer, automatic vacuum control and all the necessary cabling. The operator sets the digital controller to a set point, i.e. 1mmHg. The pressure transducer senses the pressure in the distillation system and adjusts the automatic proportional control valve accordingly. The control valve can be attached to a gaseous nitrogen source, or be open to the atmosphere, depending on the sample requirement.
The B/R VAC-1000 is designed to be used with B/R's complete line of distillation equipment. However, simply by disconnecting a single vacuum hose and the power cord, the vacuum system can be quickly and easily rolled to another site and used for other laboratory applications.
